We know what it's like to try anything for the first time - the anxiety, the questions, the curiosity... so here are some of the top questions people ask before they visit a church...
How did we come up with this list?
We all started off as first-time guests, too!
Here are Chuck and Jean
to help you know what to expect when you visit:
1. What kind of church is this?
What started off as a dream to reach out to unchurched people through an innovative approach involving the use of contemporary music, multi-media and practical messages, is a reality.
We are a church that teaches the Bible. Crossroads adheres to a unique philosophy of ministry. We use multi-media, contemporary music and practical messages to present the timeless truths of Scripture in a way that they make sense! The Life Group meetings are designed for those who wish to develop their relationship with Christ and other people through worship and more in-depth Biblical teaching. This environment fosters the development of inter-personal relationships and spiritual growth.

2. What should I wear?
The casual dress code of Crossroads is different than most churches. For example, people are encouraged to come in their shorts during the summer, and whatever casual wear is comfortable for them during the rest of the year. So please leave the tie at home!

4. What will the service be like?
Crossroads adheres to a unique philosophy of ministry. On Sunday mornings multi-media, contemporary music and practical messages are used to present the timeless truths of Scripture in a manner that will profoundly impact your life, whether you know Christ already, or are journeying in that direction!
Our goal is that what we teach on Sunday is something we can actually do on Monday! ... and discover that the Bible actually works!
The midweek Life Groups are designed for those who wish to develop their relationship with Christ through community building, and Bible teaching.
5. Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
At Crossroads, you can rest assured you will never be put on the spot, never singled-out, and never embarrassed. We're a family, where we want you to feel loved and appreciated, so that you will want to join the Crossroads family!
Further, as our guest, you will be encouraged to accept the service as our gift to you. To present their offerings people either give online through our own Crossroads Church App, website, or place their offering in our Offering Box located near the entrance to the auditorium.
We don't pressure anyone to give, and we don't routinely pass an offering plate that might make people feel guilty for not giving... The service you attend is our gift to you! It is our pleasure to serve you! We won't ask, or expect, our guests to give anything back.
If our pastor remembers, he'll probably ask you to fill out an "Info. Card" which you'll find in the program you receive when you enter the building... After your visit we want to make simple, non-threatening, contact with you to see how your experience went and to see if you have any questions.
6. What about my kids - do they come in with me, or is there something going on for them?
We provide NUSERY care for the youngest children from the moment you arrive until the service ends.
"KinderZone" is our pre-K through grade 2 ministry. Your children of this age remain in the service with you while we sing. They usually love that part. Then we dismiss them along with the grade 3-5 kids and each group goes to a separate classroom where they have activities and lessons prepared with them in mind!
"KidZone" provides an exciting, quality experience for your grade 3-5 child at the same time as KinderZone. This allows you to maximize your experience at Crossroads while your child is receiving high-levels of care and attention.
We also offer AWANA Children's Ministry During the School year!
We address the needs of grades 6 - 12 kids through our Ignite Youth Ministry!
7. Is this a Christian church, or something else?
Though non-traditional in style, Crossroads is decidely Chriatian, and deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith. The Bible is our one-and-only source of Truth. We are part of The Christian and Missionary Alliance group of churches.
If we ever teach anything that disagrees with the Bible, please tell us, because either we made a mistake (and we'll correct it!) or you heard something incorrectly (and we want to help clear that up!)
Our mission is simple: "Live the Gospel by loving God, making disciples, and loving our neighbors."
8. What are the service times?
Our Sunday Morning Service time is 10 am.
Our Nursery, KinderZone, and KidZone ministries (for children birth-fifth grade) run simultaneously with the service, as mentioned in #6 above.
Crossroads adheres to a unique philosophy of ministry. On Sunday mornings media, contemporary music and practical messages are used to present the timeless truths of Scripture in a manner that that profoundly impacts people's lives, whether they know Christ already, or are journeying in that direction!
The Life Group meetings are designed for those who wish to develop their relationship with Christ through community and in-depth Biblical teaching.

9. How do I get there?
Crossroads is located at 2810 First Street (hwy 144)on the North side of Perry. Your best directions are to travel hwy 141 to First Street (or hwy 144) street and turn north. Crossroads is almost exactly 3 miles North of the 141/144 intersection. We are located on the East side of the road just before you leave the Perry city limits! It is a large white steel building.
